I could talk all day long about how much I love Alma Midwifery but I will try to keep it short and sweet. I had the experience of a lifetime at Alma, they gave me everything I needed to have a truly natural and supported birth. The atmosphere is just incredible and my birth team was awesome. I almost want to have another just so I can hang out in the Fern room again. I would recommend anyone and everyone here! Alma made giving birth like a vacation from reality…all about you and baby and making the experience beautiful.

As we are all products of our environment, I had never considered the birth of my children happening anywhere other than a hospital. Now, not only can I NOT imagine having them in a hospital, I am doing what little I can to spread the word about bringing your family into this world the way God and nature intended. There is a personal connection that happens in this place that is indescribable! With the staff as well as the birth and of course your baby when that magical moment happens. I am convinced that I am part of an elite group of lucky people who have had the joy of experiencing Alma

I had my baby with Alma care and my amazing Alma birthing team at home in the fall of 2012 and I can not speak highly enough of the care, professionalism, skill, compassion and knowledge that I experienced throughout my entire time at Alma. I felt totally informed and respected in every way and I was blown away by the amount of precision and coordination my team showed at the times when it was needed. I can not recommend Alma highly enough. honestly. I can never say enough amazing things about Alma. I adore every person I have met through Alma from the midwives to the front desk to the classes and momma groups. It is more than just a place to go for prenatal and postpartum care, it is a community full of caring people. Between the smiles, hugs, and great conversations, I have always felt welcome. My son was born 4 days ago on my kitchen floor and my midwives were more than amazing. They anticipated my needs, followed my lead, and took charge when needed so that I could have the amazing birth experience I have always dreamed about. I will always be thankful.
